West Palm is one of our favorite local dive destinations, as it offers not only super clear water, but also affords some fantastic spear-fishing, lobstering and photography. The Atlantic Gulf Stream comes in closest to shore off the coast of Palm Beach. The Gulf Stream’s rich nutrient filled waters bring in spectacular amounts of tropical and sport fish. Diving adventures often involve encounters with as many as four species of sea turtle (including the rare leatherback), six species of eels and different species of shark.

Only $229.99 (plus tax per diver)

2011 Trip Dates:

•December 3rd+4th Contact – John at Bradenton Scuba Quest to Sign-up Today!

Day 1: 3 tank afternoon dive – 1:00pm

Arrive in West palm, assemble for briefing and board the dive vessel “Wetter the Better”.

The “Wetter the Better” is West Palms premier dive vessel and the experienced captains have years of local knowledge putting its divers on the best spots. These dive sites will afford many opportunities for divers to get their limit of spiny lobster, which abound in these waters. Similarly, spearfishers will have a chance to get a shot on the many food-fish that inhabit these reefs, such as black grouper, hogfish, and multiple species of snapper. (Valid Florida Fishing License Required)

After our 3 tank dive day, we will check into our hotel, the Comfort Inn, which is conveniently located to the dive boat, restaurants and local taverns.

After check in, guests may venture out on their own, or join us at a local pub for drinks and stories of the day before dinner at a choice of many fine eateries.

Day 2: 2 tank morning dive – 7:30am

With any newfound knowledge from our previous dive day, we target 2 new dive sites. Where again, we will be afforded the opportunity to target the bounty of the reefs and ledges of West Palm Beach.
